Our portfolio of extracts for phytopharmaceuticals is made up of a vast array of galenic forms. We offer dried extracts, compacted granulates for direct compression of tablets or as capsule filling material, as well as instant teas. Our product spectrum also includes liquid, oily and soft extracts. All of these galenic forms have one thing in common: the ingredients and active components from the primary botanicals are retained almost entirely thanks to particularly gentle cutting, grinding, extraction and drying processes. We will be happy to advise you as to which galenics are best suited to your requirements.

Overview of the available galenic forms:

Standardised dried extracts (sicca)

• Suitable for tablets, capsules, film-coated tablets or instant teas
• Sold as fine powder: <0.1mm (80%); as powder: <0.315mm (95%), as compacted granulates: >1.3mm (0%) <0.3mm (max. 15%) or to your specific requirements

Soft extracts (spissa/oleosum)

• Suitable for soft gelatine capsules and for dissolving in liquid preparations
• Available dry substance content of between 65 and 90 percent (m/m)
• Preservation (if required): 0.2% potassium sorbate

Liquid extracts and tinctures

• Suitable for solutions and syrups
• Depending on the type of herbal raw material those extract forms are manufactured by using direct percolation or by dissolving soft or dried extracts

Finished pharmaceutical preparations

• Tablet mixtures
• Compacted granulates
• Instant teas
