Organic, Kosher and Halal with Peace of Mind

Products that carry the “organic”, “kosher” or “halal” seals need ingredients that satisfy strict criteria. Many of our botanicals meet these standards. Selected products within Martin Bauer Group are produced in accordance with the strict standards for kosher products. The kosher certificate is issued by the Jewish community of Schleswig-Holstein (Rabbi Barsilay) which, at regular intervals, bears witness to the fact that the ingredients have been manufactured in compliance with Jewish food standards and can be used for kosher products with peace of mind. In addition, many of our products are halal-certified. This inspection is performed by the Islamic Food Council of Europe (IFCE) in Brussels and guarantees that the products have been procured in 100% compliance with Islamic standards.

Satisfying organic requirements

Furthermore, we have a number of organic products in our portfolio that were certified by BCS Öko-Garantie GmbH according to Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 and Commission Regulation (EC) No 889/2008 (code number of organic certifaction body: DE-ÖKO-001) and US NOP standard (organic respectively 100% organic).
