Tea Variations with Roasted Rice

玄米茶 (or GenMaiCha) is a Japanese tea speciality made of traditional green sencha (green tea), to which husked and roasted brown rice is added. This gives the tea an aromatic, roasted aroma reminiscent of malt and caramel.

Inspired by the nutty, caramel-sweet aroma of GenMaiCha, we have developed a range of green tea and rooibos variations, as well as herbal and fruit infusions. This is our Gen Mai + X concept, which takes traditional components and reinvents them, creating previously unknown experiences in aroma and taste.
