The Martin Bauer Group opens its doors for Girls Day for the sixth time running

The Martin Bauer Group and PhytoLab will again be opening their doors for Girls Day on 22nd April this year. This will give twelve young ladies an opportunity to become acquainted with the working life of a chemical lab technician. "We are taking part in Girls Day for the sixth time this year," say Eva Beier and Heidrun Omlor, training supervisors at the Martin Bauer Group and PhytoLab. "In our experience, Girls Day can be very helpful in deciding on a career. There was therefore never any question in our minds about inviting girls to Vestenbergsgreuth again this year."

The Martin Bauer Group is again inviting young ladies to visit its premises in Vestenbergsgreuth on Girls Day this year. The girls will have an opportuntity to become acquainted with the work of a lab technician as in 2009 (photograph).

Personnel from PhytoLab, the leading accredited analytical laboratory for herbal products, give the girls an insight into the functions and duties of a chemical lab technician. These include using the most diverse methods and procedures to determine whether the raw materials processed by the Martin Bauer Group meet the specified stringent quality standards. The girls can discover more about the practical side of this work at first hand during their visit on 22nd April, when they will have an opportunity to test green tea and fruit tea themselves, and it goes without saying that they will be equipped with lab coats and protective glasses. The teenagers will also be given an insight into the various products and services offered by the internationally active group of companies.
